Star Valley High School brought home a lot of medals and a large shiny trophy from the Speak of the Devil Evanston Tournament last weekend. As a team, SVHS placed second in 4A schools, just points away from Jackson Hole High School. Individual highlights include Senior Fenec Burton, who place in all three entered events – Drama, Duo, and Impromptu, and Sophomore Brooklyn Bach, who battled senior debaters in Lincoln Douglas debate and won first place. It was very exciting to watch her final round as means to intimidate her were met with confidence and strong evidence-backed rebuttals.
