After Day 1 of the Wyoming State Wrestling Championships the Star Valley Lady Braves are out in front of the team race by 40 points. The Braves in Braids carved out 89 points in the opening rounds as Sheridan sits in second with 49.0. Cheyenne East is third with 43.0 points. Kemmerer is currently fifth with 33.0 team points. 

Individually Carlee Angell (100), Keston Johnson (120), Remington Aullman (135), Cara Andrews (140), Veil Foreman (145), Lillian Anderson (155) and Cashlee Hepworth (235) have all advanced to the semifinals. 

Riley Meyer (100), Laynee Walker (115) and Kaylie Julander (140) are into the semifinals for the Lady Rangers. 

The Braves are in fourth place after the first day with 68.0 team points. Defending 4A champion Thunder Basin is off to a blazing start with 122.0 points. Kelly Walsh is second with 84.5 and Cheyenne East is third with 72.5. 

Individually, Kimball Parry (120), Tel Parry (138), Kooper Burk (157), Damien Burgess (175) and Grant Thomson (285) have advanced to the Championship Semi-finals. 

2A Boys –

Moorcroft is out to a big lead with 102.0 team points. The Kemmerer Rangers are second with 77.5 and the Cokeville Panthers are fourth with 64.5.

Abel Jimenez (113), Roany Proffit (138), Noah Parks (150), Graison Kelley (165), Braxton Pope (175) and Owen Barton (190) are into the semi-final round for the Rangers.
