Lower Valley Energy experienced a major transmission outage from their power supplier, Bonneville Power according to information reported by the company.

The transmission path to the southern end of the LVE system to Jackson lost power to over 1,200 customers according to the LVE website.

Engineering and crews began work at just before 8 a.m. Saturday morning and worked to restore power through rerouting options and bringing power back on in phases.

Outages affected customers in  Lincoln, Teton and Sublette counties. Rerouting of the issue took several hours with power being restored to most customers by 11 a.m.
