Emergency responders were called to mile marker 401 (roughly 1.5 miles north of the Idaho/Wyoming border) on Highway 26 north of Alpine. The call came in at 9:37 p.m. Wednesday, April 23 for a single vehicle rollover.

The Alpine Fire Department said the vehicle had rolled and came to rest on the driver side approximately 50 feet down an embankment off the highway. Responders stabilized the vehicle and the driver was extricated through the sunroof. AFD said the driver was transported to the Star Valley Health’s Alpine Emergency Room.
