Star Valley FFA Alumni and Supporters are hosting the Annual Blue and Gold fundraiser and awards banquet for the Star Valley FFA student chapter on May 17 at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner service at 6 p.m.

Representative McKay Erickson is scheduled as the keynote speaker, and newly selected 2025-26 Wyoming State FFA Reporter, Bridger Wolfley, will deliver his retiring address as a chapter officer with the SV FFA.

All proceeds from the fundraiser go toward financing Star Valley FFA members as they attend leadership conferences such as FIRE, Chapter President’s Conference and Summer FFA Leadership Camp, as well as various practice contests throughout the year. Funds also cover materials for community service projects and events that members help with throughout the year.

“This banquet will serve a dual purpose–to present and recognize the kids for awards they earned this year as well as raise money for their future FFA participation,” said SV FFA Assistant Advisor Bridget Frank.

“There will be a general raffle, kids raffle, silent auction and limited quota raffle games for big prizes,” said Frank. “Game raffles will be for a 6.5 Savage Creedmoor Rifle from Wild Wyoming Outfitters, a Mathews 4 33 Bow package with adjustable weight and draw from Archery Unlimited, and a two-night accommodation at a fishing resort in Sitka, Alaska from Twin Island Retreat. The kids raffle will have a Savage Rascal single shot .22 rifle as one of the items.”

Tickets purchased at the door include a meal built around smoked pork, five general raffle tickets and one early bird raffle ticket. Adult entry is $25, while children 12 and under can attend for $15. VIP tables are available for $250 offering six adult dinner tickets, 42 general raffle tickets, six early bird tickets, six VIP raffle tickets and a privately reserved table.
