Star Valley Ranch is gearing up for a fun and informative day as the town hosts its 8th annual Star Valley Ranch Safety Days—a lively, family-friendly event focused on promoting health, safety, and community connection across the valley.

Held at the First Response Center, just across from Town Hall, Safety Days is a celebration of the people and programs working behind the scenes to keep Star Valley safe and thriving.

“It’s not just for the town,” said Jim Rodgers, Special Municipal Officer and longtime organizer. “It’s for the whole area—to let people know how much we care for our valley.”

Safety Days features interactive booths, hands-on experiences, and live demonstrations, including a fire safety demo with the fire department. Kids will love meeting Smokey Bear, getting their faces painted, and entering the children’s raffle. Lucky’s Place will also be on-site with adoptable dogs, making it fun day for the whole family.

We all know about safety resources but do we actually use them? “When they actually meet the people,” Rodger adds, “They get a better understanding of what they have to keep people safe.”

The event will educate on who to call in an emergency, how to respond in different situations, and the wide range of first responders and health resources available throughout Star Valley.

Beyond safety, it’s about connection. “Come one, come all,” Rodgers exclaimed. “It’s all about the valley—bringing people together, showing that we care, and just having a good time.”

Don’t miss Star Valley Ranch Safety Days—a morning packed with learning, fun, and community spirit.
