
• Wyoming Game & Fish Director encourages those with information to share it
In a recent interview on SVI Radio’s Weekday Wake-Up, Director Angi Bruce of the Wyoming Game & Fish provided an update on the ongoing investigation into a poaching incident that occurred on April 26, when 12 pronghorn were illegally shot and left to waste north of Kemmerer, near Viva Naughton Reservoir.

During the interview, Bruce emphasized the importance of community involvement in wildlife protection. “We are thankful for the tips that have been pouring into our game wardens,” she said. “They are actively investigating those leads and building a case.”

Bruce called on the public to assist in the investigation, urging anyone with information related to the incident to reach out to the Game & Fish office in Green River. “Any little bit of information you can share can help build the case,” she noted.
The director also highlighted the significance of ethical hunting practices, stating, “Ethical hunting is so important. Seventy-five percent of the general public support hunting.” She stressed that responsible hunting is crucial to maintaining public trust and ensuring the welfare of wildlife.
