The final weekend of the volleyball season is here as teams compete for the state championship in Casper.
The Lady Braves fell to Thunder Basin in the opening round 3-0 (19-25, 20-25, 24-26) to drop into the consolation bracket. Star Valley bounced back on Friday with a sweep of Cheyenne East 3-0 (25-23, 25-23, 25-12).
Now on the final day of the season, Star Valley will face off against 4A East champion Laramie who was knocked out of the championship bracket in five sets by the Green River Wolves.
Join Brandy Taylor and Patience Jenkins as they bring you the Lady Braves’ run from Casper with the match scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. A win over the Plainsmen would put Star Valley into the consolation championship against the winner of Sheridan and Thunder Basin at 2:30 p.m. A loss would end the season.
As a culminating event, SVI Media is not permitted to stream video of the matches. A paid stream can be found using the National Federation of High Schools (NFHS).
