“Painting the West – Studies Show” brings western artists to Cokeville

Cokeville, WY – The tradition of Western art comes alive at “Painting the West – Studies Show,” taking place on July 25, 2025, in the scenic community of Cokeville, Wyoming.
This one-of-a-kind event invites art lovers, collectors, and enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the creative process alongside some of the country’s top Western artists. Guests will have the rare opportunity to observe painting demonstrations by acclaimed Cowboy Artists of America (CAA) members Grant Redden and Chad Poppleton, as well as a special studies show and sale featuring works by both established CAA members and emerging Western artists. Set against the backdrop of a working Wyoming ranch, attendees can interact with their favorite artists as they explore the timeless subjects of Western art: horses, the figure, and sweeping landscapes. The event will also feature a guided tour of the historic Minerva Teichert exhibit, connecting visitors with the region’s rich artistic heritage.
