Don’t miss the crowd-favorite Truck and Tractor Pulls on Saturday, August 2 at 7 p.m. where drivers push their turbo-charged, high-power performance machines to the limit.
Monday, August 4 brings the return of a traditional country music concert to the LCF. Additional details regarding the concert can be found at LincolnCountyFair.info.
Enjoy the western culture of Horse Pulls, on Tuesday, August 5 at 7 p.m., featuring powerful draft horse teams showcasing their muscle and endurance, while Wednesday, August 6 at 7 p.m. offers the county’s beloved Freestyle Reining, showcasing artistry and athleticism from skilled riders and their horses as they present choreographed displays of precision, speed, and style to stirring music.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday, August 7-9 at 7 p.m., bring the heart-stopping action of PRCA Rodeo. Experience the thrill of classic events like barrel racing, team roping, and saddle bronc, bareback, and bull riding.
Under the Big Top and the Little Top, the line-up includes acts brought back by popular demand, and engaging new acts that could become traditional favorites. Guests will find the contemporary acoustic band, Caltucky, presenting a unique fusion of traditional bluegrass styles and progressive improvisation. “That’s going to be pretty fun, I think,” said LCF Board Member, Ryan Lyman in an interview with SVI Media. Mariachi music returns with a five-member traditional band in full color dress.
Don’t miss the LCF traditional Tap Classics show that serves up joy with dance favorites offered by this local company of all women who tap their way into your hearts with smiles and true love of the art.
Marcus, Funny Man Who Does Tricks offers comedy with a variety of items such as bowling balls and knives. Chris Mabrey presents comedy hypnosis. “He’s the one that everyone requests,” Lyman said. Mike Walker impersonates your most famous friends (and enemies). “He can do a dozen different celebrity impressions. He’s been in Branson and does a really good job.” Jerry Frasier keeps you in wonder, presenting magic with big laughs.
Enjoy up and coming vocalists Cynthia Renee, Sterling Drake and Brennan Scott Greene, “who plays a didgeridoo, which will be kind of unique,” and Logan Mac, who will be doing his own original pieces. Lyman said, “He’s such a good songwriter! His lyrics are just amazing to me. He’s just a blue-collar guy and he started singing and writing and posting on his social media. These acts haven’t really hit it big, but they sound good, and they have good songs.” In addition, don’t miss the fun at Karaoke with Rich and Joanie!
“In the past, we’ve had the entertainers either under the Big Top or under the Little Top, but this year, they will just rotate in both areas.”
Grounds entertainment opens with three days of the all-new Adventure Zone Bounce House and Water Park. “This is a giant bounce house park with a whole bunch of inflatable bounce houses! They will set up a little paddle pool, and they will have paddle boats that you can go on.” Free to families, this massive park is open Friday, August 1, through Sunday evening, August 3, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
Enjoy the free 29th Annual Kickin’ Klassics Car Show on Saturday, August 2. Expect a line-up of nostalgic classic cars and custom muscle machines while listening to music provided by a professional DJ. Don’t miss this long-standing tradition.
Families won’t want to miss attractions on the grounds such as the Equator’s Edge Animal Experience, Axe Women Loggers of Maine, Jeremiah Johnston’s Throw Zone, world-class jugglers, unicyclists, magicians, comedians and a quick-draw cowboy, as well as Curly’s Kid Zone and the All-Aboard Train.
