LARAMIE, Wyo.  (August 19, 2025) – The Cowboy football season is right around the corner and the Football Hour with Jay Sawvel is back with the first show of the season set for Wednesday, August 20 starting at 7 p.m. at Altitude Chophouse and Brewery in Laramie. The show can be heard live locally in Lincoln County on SVI Radio’s The Spur. In Kemmerer/Diamondville, listen on 105.3 FM or 940 AM. In the Afton area of Star Valley, listen on 107.5 FM or 1210 AM and in the Thayne/Alpine area of Star Valley listen on 106.7 FM or 1210 AM. The Spur can also be streamed worldwide on the SVI News app or at SVInews.com/radio.

Each week join the Voice of the Cowboys, Keith Kelley and head coach Jay Sawvel along with guests for an hour long show that showcases Cowboy Football. Get insight into past contests and a look ahead to the opponents for each week.

Wednesday’s guests include center Jack Walsh along with director of sports performance for the Cowboys coach Eric Donoval.
