
A wildfire started Wednesday, August 20 in the Greys River area. According to the Bridger-Teton National Forest, the Little Greys Fire is burning on the Greys River Ranger District approximately six miles southeast of the McCain guard station.
“There is a smoke column that is very visible,” the B-T explained. “Please do not report. Firefighters are on scene and two engines are in route. Air attack and two single engine air tankers have been ordered. This is a full suppression fire.”
The fire was estimated to be roughly six acres in size as of early Wednesday evening. The cause remains undetermined.
