Every month, the Star Valley Rotary Club acknowledges select students in Lincoln County School District No. 2 for their achievements.
The following students were honored for September of 2025.
Lydia Clove
Originally from Utah and currently a senior with SVHS. In school she loves all her teachers but her favorite subject is Chemistry. Along with playing the string bass and piano her love for music, especially classical and movie scores, has driven her to provide lessons for others. Outside of school she spends many hours helping the local food pantry. Her community idea is for students to create a peer tutoring session where all students can gain help from their peers either before or after school. She plans to leave her two sisters next fall to pursue her degree in Engineering.
Trace Hillstead-Clauson
Born and raised in the valley with vast knowledge and experience with the family horse racing business. He highly values his education at SVHS with his favorite school subjects being Physics & Chemistry. Trace has committed to the University of Wyoming next fall and will further his studies in Chemical Engineering. He would also like to see a tutoring club in the area for younger students to excel in school. Outside of school and while not training horses you might catch him at Dad’s Steakhouse.
Anahi Barnes-Boch
Originally from Northern California and currently a senior at SVHS. Anahi enjoys the tech side of school with her favorite subjects being Math and History. She loves playing the clarinet for the marching band and hopes to further her education by attending university in either Utah or Wyoming majoring in Psychology and Music. Outside of school she enjoys crocheting, crafting and spending time with her aunt and uncle. She would like to help her community by holding a hygiene-product drive to further support the local food pantries.
