Do you live in Auburn, Grover, Afton, Fairview, Osmond, Smoot or some other area of the upper valley in Star Valley?
If so, you are asked to participate in a survey for the Lincoln County Upper Valley Transportation Alternative Plan (TAP).
The survey is part of a county-wide program to improve transportation and prepare plans for the future.
“TAP is a bicycling and walking plan for the area,” according to a survey report. “We’re working to build safe connected walking and biking routes that make it easier for everyone in the upper valley to get around.”
As part of the survey, questions are asked about the frequency of walking and bicycling and the reason for both, such as recreation or exercise?
In addition, questions focus on where waking and bicycling occur and what may hinder these activities?
Additional information can be found at www.uppervalleytap.com.
In a September county report on the transportation plan, trails drew specific attention.
