Whatever the weather, many of us remember driving and/or walking door-to-door, knocking and exclaiming “trick-or-treat!” -with the hopes of getting a better candy than at the last house.
Memories of childhood, having to wear a coat over the planned Halloween costume, or taking the risk of frostbite to show off costume effort, will forever be ingrained in the minds of many who have grown up in Star Valley. Even for those who had warmer Hallows Eve nights have similar memories of the door-to-door work for salt water taffies, chocolates, or even some homemade goodies.
A Star Valley trick-or-treat map is available online for anyone who is looking for a traditional door-to-door Halloween with their families, but are not sure which doors to send their children to.
With over 50 home addresses on the trick-or-treat map, Ivy Robinson says, “I hope to bring back the classic trick-or-treating and gain more addresses in years to come!”
Robinson is still adding addresses for those who would like to be included on the map, along with other Halloween activities, including events and trunk-or-treat locations. For those interested in being included on the map, you can scan the code and add it yourself, reach out to Ivy Robinson on Facebook, comment on any of her posts shared on local pages about the event, or email her at ivyroninson2021@gmail.com.
