Jackie Oswald

Jacqueline “Jackie” Oswald, 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Born on October 17, 1935, in Calgary, Canada, to American-born parents, Jackie’s life was one of love, adventure, and dedication to her family and community. She spent her early years in Penticton, Alberta, before moving to Omak, Washington, where she graduated from Omak High School. Jackie went on to live a rich and full life marked by her warmth, resilience, and compassion for others.
Jackie was and raised five children -Brenda Berg, LeAnne Dennis, Karen Trueman, Scott Lenhart, and the late Mike Lenhart. Her love for her family was the steady center of her life. She lived in Alaska for seven years before settling in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she pursued a career as a dental hygienist with Dr. LoVass. In 1979, Jackie joined Westgate Drug inc., where she met the love of her life, Gib Oswald. The two married and shared many wonderful years together.
Upon retirement, Jackie and Gib made their home in Star Valley Ranch, Wyoming; Where they embraced their passions for golf and travel. Together. they explored the world and created countless cherished memories. Jackie will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and her unwavering love for her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and joy that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Sue Anne Hymas

Sue Anne (Hyde) Hymas, returned home to her Heavenly Father on December 1, 2025 in Afton, Wyoming, with her sister Nyla by her side. Sue Anne was born to Eldon and Rena Hyde on January 14, 1952 in Afton, Wyoming.
Sue Anne spent her younger years growing up in Bedford, living up the canyon at the Strawberry power plant where her father was employed with Lower Valley Power & Light. She was often seen feeding the wild animals in her back yard. Her mother even saw her trying to give a slice of toast to a bear.
She loved helping others. If you were her friend or family she would protect you and give her life for you.
The pride and joy of her life was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved spending time with them whenever she could. She would proudly show everyone pictures of them. You could tell by the look on her face how much she loved them.
Her cherished possession was her black SUV in which she loved taking rides in. She loved watching her game shows and old westerns.
Sue lived in various places during her life, Idaho, Utah, and Montana, but her heart was always in Star Valley. She lived with her sister Nyla in Bedford for a short period, then with her granddaughter Brittany in Idaho until she needed more care then they could provide for her. She then went to live at the Star Valley Care Center where she made many friends and enjoyed playing bingo and watching the birds outside her window. Her favorite past time, was her diamond art. She would spend hours working on each picture and then give them away to family and friends. She won a blue ribbon on one of her diamond art pictures at the Lincoln County Fair this past summer.
Sue Anne is survived by two children, Shawn (Trish) of Washington, and Mike (Emily) of Smoot, Wyoming. who are the love of her life. Her grandchildren; Brittany Hyde of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Sarah (Tyler) Beck of Utah, Jayden (Tessa)McCallmant, Kage (Summer) Hymas, Mack (Ryleigh) Hymas, all of Montpelier, Idaho, and Shawnee of Smoot, Wyoming, great-grandchildren; Tamarack Hyde of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Haisleigh and August Hymas, Wariah and Emery McCallmant of Montpelier, Idaho, Eleanor and Forrest Beck of Utah, two sisters; Vernette Fluckiger and Nyla Skinner of Bedford, Wyoming, one brother Spencer Hyde of Grantsville, Utah and a sister-in-law Cathy Hyde of Bedford, Wyoming, many nieces and nephews.
Sue was predeceased by her parents Eldon and Rena Hyde, siblings; Galene, Clain, Delwin, LaRene, Curt, and Delane, daughter; Trena Hyde; brothers-in-law, Stanford Fluckiger and Noel Skinner.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside will take place in the spring at the Auburn Cemetery, Auburn, Wyoming. Time and date to follow.
Genevieve Allred
Genevieve Johns Allred of Mesa, Arizona completed her mortal probation December 2, 2025, three weeks prior to her 94th birthday.
“Jenny” was the last surviving child of the ten children born to William, “Bill” and Vivian Staley Johns formerly of Smoot, Wyoming. She was born 23 December 1931 and raised in Smoot until her marriage to Val W. Allred of Fairview, Wyoming on June 23,1950 in the Idaho Falls Temple. Together they travelled the country as Val pursued his career in Electrical Engineering. Only two of their six children were born in the same state.
Genevieve loved to sing and was often the featured soloist for her ward and Relief Society choirs. She served 30 years in the Primary organization of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, holding positions as chorister and in several ward and Stake presidencies. During her later years she became a skilled and passionate quilter. After making quilts for all of her children and grandchildren she became a prolific and regular contributor to several local relief organizations that donated quilts to those in need of warmth and comfort.
Genevieve was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents William and Vivian Johns, her husband ValDee W. Allred and one son, (Keith).
She is survived by her children Mark Johns (Elaine), David Kim (Christine), Sheldon, Alecia Carpenter (Joseph), and Stephanie Wallace (Eddie), 25 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
She is already missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family requests donations be made to Winged Hope Family Advocacy Foundation or Gathering Humanity.
