Turning Point’s Hall of Trees raises over $6,000

The Hall of Trees event in Kemmerer emerged as a remarkable triumph, uniting the community and raising over $6,000 for The Turning Point. This year’s festivities featured 11 beautifully decorated tree entries, highlighting the creativity and spirit of the participants. The event also included a delightful chili cook-off and a dessert bake-off, each showcasing four fantastic entries.

Winners of this year’s competitions included Andrea Walker and her daughter, Kaycee Walker, who claimed the title for the winning tree. The chili cook-off was won by Jen Schwartz and her husband, while Kaycee Walker also took home the top prize in the dessert bake-off. In addition to the contests, several stunning donated trees were auctioned off, contributed by generous community members and local businesses, such as Nikki Fagnant, Union Wireless, and First Bank of Wyoming – Kemmerer Branch. A special acknowledgment was made to Williams Company for their exceptional $1,500 donation and for entering one of the beautiful tree displays.

“We deeply appreciate all participants who entered a tree, chili, or baked good — your creativity and support made this event shine. Thank you as well to all of our silent auction sponsors who generously donated items. Your contributions made a huge difference. And, of course, a big thank you to our community for showing up, supporting us, and helping make this event such a wonderful success. Finally, we want to express our gratitude to the South Lincoln Training and Events Center. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a great facility to host events like this. Thank you all — we couldn’t do this without you!” shared by Bobbie Orcutt, Executive Director of The Turning Point.
