Star Valley Health will continue offering orthopedic and pain management health care services in Kemmerer/Diamondville and southwest Wyoming at a new location.
Mountain West Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, a service of Star Valley Health will open in late September.
Mike Hunsaker, Chief Operating Officer explained the new location.
“The location of our property and the new clinic will be on a very busy corner in the community down there,” he explained. “Lots of people pass by there every day it is very near the Bomgaars in Diamondville as well as the Pizza Hut and Arctic Circle so I think it will be very visible for the patients.
A new sign at the location features Dr. Kevin Stucki Orthopedist and Dr. Brian McClure, Pain Specialist.
Appointments fore the entire staff can be made by calling Mountain West Orthopedics & Sports Medicine at 307-885-5870.
“This is a continuation of Services both for our orthopedic group as well as for Dr. McClure our pain management specialist,” explained Hunsaker. “They have been seeing patients in the Kemmerer area for orthopedics since 2010 and Dr. McClure has been traveling to Kemmerer to see pain management patients for I think about four or five years now.”
He noted, “We have found that we lost our clinic space in the Kemmerer in the last several months and so we made the decision to place a small modular clinic building on a piece of property we purchased in Diamondville, which has is a really good location, very visible to the public and lots of parking and opportunity to see patients on days of the week and throughout the month that maybe we weren’t able to in the past.”
Hunsaker added, “Star Valley Health anticipates having the clinic building in place by the end of September ready to see patients. I know that our physicians and their PAs and staff will pick up right where we have been. They’ll be able to see there their orthopedist, Dr. Stucki or Dr. Brian McClure.”
Physician’s Assistants will also be visiting the Kemmerer/Diamondville offices.
He continued, “As I mentioned earlier, this is a continuation of the services that we have been providing in the communities of South Lincoln County for several years now. Our doctors have built really great patient relationships, and a patient base in that part of our county and are very desirous of continuing that relationship with them.”
Hunsaker advised, “I believe the future of orthopedic care for Star Valley Health has is very bright.
“Dr. Linford and Dr. Stucki both with have their main offices in Afton and outreach in Evanston Bridger Valley and Kemmerer.
“Also, Dr. McClure sees patients in both Kemmerer and in Evanston as well as Star Valley.”
He further noted, “Dr. Jensen our spine specialist is seeing patients in Evanston, Star Valley and Bridger Valley and appointments can be made for any of those specialists in those locations by calling that same number at our main Mountain West Ortho office.”
Hunsaker concluded, “I would like to mention that our community is very blessed to have actually four really great orthopedic surgeons
“I forgot to mention Dr. Washburn, who is based in our Evanston clinic and seeing patients from the Uinta County also and as well Dr. McClure, have such a great orthopedic group and pain management group.
“We could never have such a great group of physicians unless we expanded our service territory to serve communities all over Southwest Wyoming, including Star Valley.”
Hunsaker noted the clinic is in Diamondville and “the Diamondville community is really excited to have a new business and in their town.” He added, “We will be serving patients from all over South Lincoln County, as well as other counties in Southwest Wyoming.
