The Lady Braves Wrestlers were in the Beehive State for the second straight weekend as they competed in the Lady Hawk Rumble in Millville at Ridgeline High School. The program placed fourth out of 23 teams at the event, compiling 120 team points.
Individually, Carlee Angell (105), Cara Andrews (140) and Brook Schwab (170) advanced to the finals with Angell and Schwab winning their brackets.
In the junior varsity tournament, Constance Peterson, Sophia Bauer, Afton Hunting and Stella Lind won individual brackets.
“We were happy with this week’s outcome and so proud of all of our girls,” replied head coach Jeff Anderson.
The team is scheduled to compete at the Tiger-Grizz Invite next weekend in Idaho Falls on January 16-17.
“It will be a big tournament with tough competition,” Anderson added.
