Brock Brown was selected to fill a vacancy on the Afton Town Town Council during Tuesday night’s council meeting. Brown was nominated by Mayor Jensen, approved by the council and officially sworn in.

Brown replaces Councilman Butler who recently resigned due to time constraints. Councilman Brown will serve a one-year term with his seat going up for election this November.

According to Town of Afton Administrator Violet Sanderson, a total of six residents applied to fill the opening.
