LARAMIE, Wyo. (Feb. 24, 2026) – The University of Wyoming and the Mountain West Conference announced the updated 2026 conference football matchups on Tuesday including home and away designations. The league slate for the Brown and Gold features a total of eight games, with each team having four home and four away Conference games in 2026.
Season Ticket Renewals
Renewals for your 2026 football season tickets are now available. You may renew online by visiting www.gowyo.com/tickets and logging into your account.
The Cowboys will play home contests against Air Force, Hawai’i, New Mexico and Northern Illinois. Wyoming will play road contests at North Dakota State, San Jose State, UNLV and UTEP.
NIU, North Dakota State and UTEP join the Mountain West in 2026, bringing rich football traditions and passionate fan bases that will elevate the Conference’s competitive landscape. NIU, NDSU and UTEP join Air Force, Hawai’i, Nevada, New Mexico, San José State, UNLV and Wyoming.
Each team will play four home and four away Conference games over a 13-week schedule, culminating in the Mountain West Football Championship Game, featuring the two teams with the highest Conference winning percentages.
The Cowboys will not face Nevada in 2026. Dates for matchups will release in the coming weeks.
