Governor Mark Gordon (R-WY) will join the 68th Wyoming Legislature on Monday, Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. to deliver his State of the State address, which can been seen live here courtesy of Wyoming PBS.
The Governor will be followed by the Chief Justice of the Wyoming Supreme Court giving the State of the Judiciary.
“Wyoming sits at a crossroads,” Governor Gordon said. “The actions of the 68th Legislature are pivotal: they will either propel our economy forward with a familiar pro-business, pro-growth, and robust private property agenda or they will invite economic decline. Halting growth, diminishing opportunity, weakening the University of Wyoming, and dissolving statewide economic development coordination, are just a few ingredients to stagnation and decline.”
The people’s business this year is to pass a balanced state budget addressing the essentials required from our state government. The Governor supports a spending strategy that promotes growth in our economy, strengthens our communities, provides for our most vulnerable citizens and protects our core industries.
