Bruce resigns as Game & Fish Director for position in Gov. Gordon’s office
The office of Governor Mark Gordon announced Friday afternoon that Angi Bruce, Director of the Wyoming Game & Fish Department, resigned effective immediately. Bruce has accepted a position as Director of Special Policy Initiatives in Governor Mark Gordon’s office. She will being this position August 10.
“Governor Gordon thanks Bruce for her work as director and looks forward to continuing to work with her,” reads the statement.
Deputy Director Eric Wiltanger has been named Interim Director of the Wyoming Game & Fish.
Bruce became the first female director of the Wyoming Game & Fish after being appointed to the position by Governor Mark Gordon in July of 2024.
