• Erin Cazier paints mural at Star Valley Station
A colorful new mural now graces the walls of Star Valley Station’s Skyview Lanes in Afton, capturing the beauty of the valley’s mountains and rivers—thanks to the vision and talent of freshman artist Erin Cazier.
Erin, the sixth of eight children born to Chad and Kim Cazier, lives with her family on a farm in the West Hills. A freshman at Star Valley High School, she’s already making a name for herself in both the art and bowling communities. She’s a member of the National Art Honor Society and bowls in local youth leagues, coached by Star Valley Station Manager Amy Hansen.
Erin began developing her artistic skills at the age of 12, which includes drawing animals on the family farm. While she shares that animals remain a favorite subject, her talents also include landscapes and several other subjects, including the recent large-scale mural. This mural marks her second public art piece—the first was completed at Star Valley Middle School.
Erin also participates in the Lincoln County Fair each year with her art bringing her several blue ribbons.

“I’m extremely proud of her,” said her mother, Kim Cazier. “She has a very natural talent. I’m very proud of her for expanding on her talents and being able to showcase that talent throughout our valley.”
The mural inside Skyview Lanes reflects love for Star Valley, featuring scenes that highlight the valley’s natural charm. It stands as a vibrant tribute to the area she calls home—and a testament to the power of young talent rooted in community and creativity.
“We enjoy all kinds of family activities,” Kim added, “and showcasing our kids’ natural talents and interests is something really special to us.”
