The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) as well as other first-responders were on the scene of a collision on County Road 112 in Etna on Monday morning.
According to information provided by the LCSO, it was reported that a 2011 Toyota Sienna minivan pulled out in front of a motorist on a motorcycle with the rider of the bike running into the van.
The rider was transported for medical care to the Alpine emergency room. The driver of the van was cited for Failure to Yield.
Captain Brian Andrews of the LCSO noted and reminded the public that the law states that if vehicles are entering the roadway from a driveway or other location they are required to yield to oncoming traffic.
