Paving will start this week on the new Strawberry Road, County Rd. 126, in the Star Valley Narrows.

Wyoming Department of Transportation Resident Engineer Darrin Robinson advised the paving should take four to five days. The new road will be opened once striping is complete.

Bridge work over the Salt River in the Star Valley Narrows will continue as crews switch sides of the bridge.

The latex mix concrete is allowed to dry over a several days Weather conditions, including humidity and temperature, are  monitored for the projects.

Similar bridge work is planned for the Salt River crossing at the base of the Salt River Pass in the latter weeks of summer.
