Folks throughout Star Valley are invited to register for the 3rd Annual Four-On-Four Grass Volleyball Tournament taking place Saturday, August 16 at the Fairview Box-H Park. Play begins at 8 a.m. and is expected to continue until approximately 2 p.m.

Organized by Star Valley High School volleyball players Peyton and Hallie Hokanson, who are the daughters of Dave and Gina Hokanson, the purpose of the tournament is to just “have fun,” said Peyton. “It’s been a lot of fun the last few years, and we have had a good amount of teams sign up to play.”

Divisions include Middle school, High School and Adult Women, and an Adult Co-Ed division. Money raised through tournament registrations funds equipment such as nets and prizes, for next year’s event.

Registrations are accepted through the end of the day on Friday, August 15. Folks can text Peyton directly at 307-226-4180.

Spectators are welcome. Please bring a camp chair. Concessions will be open. “This is a fun time to come play volleyball,” said Peyton. “Your skill level doesn’t matter. It’s not that intense of a tournament, so just get out and have fun.”
