Many have noticed a brown color in Swift Creek once again. As of Tuesday, October 14 there are no new mud or rockslides in Swift Creek Canyon. However runoff from recent snow and rain has pushed material down the ravine of the mudslide that occurred in June of 2023.
Images and video submitted to SVI Media from Anna Helm show the runoff mixing with Swift Creek roughly 1/2 mile below the intermittent spring.
