“It’s a Wonderful Life” comes to Ford Theatre as radio play

Riot Act of Jackson Hole is scheduled to present “It’s a Wonderful Life” as a live radio play Saturday, December 6 at 7 p.m. on the historic Ford Theatre stage.

“Cozy up with us this holiday season as we present ‘It’s a Wonderful Life: a Live Radio Play’ adapted by Joe Landry,” is the recommendation from riotactinc.org. “Celebrate the holidays with this classic presented as a staged reading of the 1940’s radio play. Based on the story of “The Greatest Gift” by Philip Van Doren Stern, this beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940’s radio broadcast.”

Riot Act’s ensemble brings dozens of memorable characters to the stage, as they portray the tender story of George Bailey who learns his immensely true value on Christmas Eve as he grapples with the belief that his life has been wasted and that he has been unable to achieve anything meaningful.
