
Two ordinances were passed at the Star Valley Ranch Town Council January meeting and another tabled.
A budget amendment of $88,400 was approved on third and final reading in a brief meeting for the Town of Star Valley Ranch January 13, 2026.
The additional funding coming in Ordinance 2025-08 Appropriations FY25-26 allows for the purchase of new snow gates for the community.
Another resolution, Ordinance 2025-09 Title XI Business Regulations, was scheduled for third reading, but was tabled for further consideration at the Feb. 10 town council meeting. It was noted the delay was to address legal concerns. The action coming after the town council went into a 20-minute executive session.
Ordinance 2026-01 Title III Administration Chapter 32 was moved through on first reading.
In a 3-2 vote, the ordinance designates the official holidays for the Town of Star Valley Ranch.
The proposed Mountain Estates Subdivision remains under consideration. The county approved subdivision is located east of Muddy String Road and adjacent to Star Valley Ranch. The project is under county land use regulations.
Star Valley Ranch is looking for volunteers that will help with the Roads Advisory Board. Engineering experience and full-time residency are preferred. Contact town hall.
