Fighting cancer is something that is done as a community of people. Workshops and events hosted by Horse Warriors, based out of Thayne, Wyoming, is one of the many ways Priscilla Marden continues to help bring that community of people together for healing.

The free, two-day workshop called “Shamanic Art: Pathway to Healing”, will be held February 27-28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the St. John’s Health Flex Space in Jackson, Wyoming. There will be a second workshop available  on March 20-21 for those who cannot make it to the February workshop. The event is co-sponsored by  St. John’s Health, the Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative, and the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole.

This is not just for those who have cancer, but for caregivers and survivors of cancer as well. According to Horse Warriors, the workshop helps guide attendees with “hands-on, artistic explorations of how imagery and symbolism can be part of a lifelong healing process.”

The sessions are limited to 12 participants and include all art supplies, lunch and instruction along the way. All supplies can be taken home at the end of the workshop to use at home.

To enroll, call 307-690-6124, or email: horsewarriors@wyoming.com.
