Lydia Vilate Michaelson and Ernest Brog will be the newest inductees to the Afton Hall of Fame.

They will be remembered as part of the annual ceremony during the Independence Day celebration in Afton.

The Heritage Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 10 a.m. in the Afton/Lincoln County Civic Center.

The Star Valley Historical Society reports the Afton Heritage Hall of Fame opened on July 5, 2008, in the Afton Civic Center, with the purpose of honoring residents  who have contributed to the success of Afton and the entire Star Valley Community.

Inductees include: 

2008: William Walton Burton, Anson Vasco Call II, Clarence Gardner, Annie Rebecca Seward Kennington, Osborne Low, Dr. George Washington West.
