“Life in 2026 is increasingly expensive, and Wyoming families are feeling the squeeze at the grocery store, the gas pump, and in their monthly housing costs,” said Byrd. “We can lower the costs of everyday expenses with a sensible, stable foreign policy and by putting working families ahead of corporate billionaires. It’s time for a representative who prioritizes the financial security of our neighbors over the interests of the elite.”
In his address, Byrd will focus on:
• AFFORDABILITY CRISIS:
Lowering the cost of everyday expenses like groceries, gas, and housing through stable economic leadership.
• PROTECTING PUBLIC LANDS:
Recognizing that Wyoming families rely on working public lands for the top three sectors of the economy—energy/minerals,
agriculture, and tourism.
• SAVING RURAL HEALTHCARE: A person’s zip code shouldn’t determine their access to a doctor. Byrd is dedicated to securing the financial stability of our rural healthcare infrastructure.
• WORLD-CLASS EDUCATION:
Focusing on the basics— strong academics and vocational training. The convention begins at 11:00 AM at the Thayne Branch Library. Byrd will be available for a brief media availability following the program.
