Members and supporters of Star Valley FFA will gather for the chapter End of Year Banquet on Saturday, May 16 in the South Exhibit Hall at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds in Afton. Doors open at 5 p.m., with dinner served at 6 and the business gavel dropping at 6:30.
Due to potential changes in WHSAA financial support to local schools, fundraising for travel and activities “may be extremely important in the coming year,” said Bridget Frank, who serves as SVFFA Assistant Advisor.
Sponsored by Star Valley FFA Alumni and Supporters, the evening offers raffles, games and opportunities for the public to support the student members of the local FFA chapter.
“The Blue & Gold Gala is the culminating event to celebrate all the incredible things our members have done and achieved throughout the year,” said Frank. “It is also their opportunity to fundraise for events and activities in the coming school year, which can include practice contests, leadership conferences and national convention, as well as scholarship opportunities and funds for community projects.”
During the meeting, new chapter officers for the 2026-27 school year will be announced and installed. Chapter members will be recognized for their accomplishments and awards they have earned throughout the 2025-26 year.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and younger. VIP Tables are available in a special VIP offer for $200. Each table seats six adults with additional perks offered through the table sponsorship.
We welcome families, business owners and alumni,” said Frank. “We’d love to see a full house of supporters on Saturday!”
“Please join in supporting your local FFA and the future of agriculture,” Added Victor Hardesty, Star Valley FFA Advisor. “All proceeds go toward supporting participation in events and activities.”
