This weekend will be packed full of music at the Star Valley Ranch RV Resort. The event will include three nights of live music for the annual concert series from July 24-26.
Tim Stewart joined SVI Radio’s Weekday Wake-Up to promote the event, which features quality tribute performances to Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood and Elton John.
“We thought this is one of the things we could do to give back to the community,” Stewart said, “this is the third time we’ve done the music festival.”
The concert series will open Friday, July 24, with December ‘63, a tribute to Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. Stewart said the touring group features three lead singers and performs many of the band’s biggest hits.
Saturday, July 25, features Garth Live!, featuring tribute artist Drew Baloh. Stewart said the performer previously appeared in Star Valley and returns after earning recognition from Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood.
“During COVID, when they couldn’t perform, he did two or three free concerts online,” Stewart said. “And Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood saw him and were so impressed with him that Garth allowed him to use his name in marketing, and he’s able to call it Garth Live.” Drew’s wife, Hana Baloh will also join in and have tribute music for Trisha Yearwood, who is married to Garth Brooks.
The series concludes Sunday, July 26, with Candle in the Wind, an Elton John tribute act.
“I’ve been trying to get him for three years,” Stewart said.
All three concerts will be performed inside the Star Valley Ranch RV Resort Barn, with seating for 450 people. “There’s really no bad seat,” says Stewart. Tickets are general admission, with a three-day pass for all three concerts being $100 and single-show tickets $40 each. VIP passes are also available, which allow VIP ticket holders to enter the barn 20 min early for their ideal seat selection.
The affordable cost of the tickets is a major draw for attendees and organizers. Stewart said the concert series gives Star Valley residents an opportunity to enjoy nationally recognized tribute acts at an affordable price.
“To be able to have the valley to have this quality of entertainment and be able to see three top-notch performers for $100 to see all three concerts, that’s what you would pay for just one concert,” he said.
