• Register online, deadline for entries is July 29
For Susan West, Lincoln County Fair Board member, it’s about bringing people together and showcasing their talents in the community booths.
“I love seeing the people and enjoy seeing all the entries,” she said on SVI Radio’s Weekday Wake-Up as the time for the annual fair draws closer.
The 2026 Lincoln County Fair is scheduled for July 31 to August 8 in Afton.
“Each community has a section in that north building and they decorate one for each community,” she explained of the process for the booths representing Lincoln County. “Then people within that community bring their entries of all types, from canning to photography to sewing and needlework and all kinds of things. Anything and everything.”

Enter online
West advised entries for the booths are submitted online. “You need to go to the website, which is www.lincolncountyfair.info,” West explained. “Once you’re at that site, at the top of the page, you’ll see online entries. Once you click there, you go to the upper right and click sign in and you enter your personal information.”
She continued, “From there, you go to ‘create entries’ and you’ll choose a department, like ‘sewing’ or ‘needlework’ or ‘canning’ or ‘crops’. Then within those departments you’ll find divisions. In crops, for instance, you might enter ‘eggs.’ ”
West added, “In flowers, you’ll find all different flowers. And then from there, you go to a class within that division. With embroidery, that might be ‘hand embroidery’ or ‘sewn embroidery.’ ”
She concluded, “Once you get your entries entered, you continue and check out. You have to be sure to check out. Then your entries will be recorded. Once you do that, you go back to your account summary and print your entry tags so you can attach those to your entries when you bring them to the fair.”
West again emphasized the importance of doing all of the registration online.
