It’s an intense interstate showdown Friday night as the Star Valley Braves (2–0) make the trip to Sugar City, Idaho, to take on the Sugar-Salem Diggers (2–1).

The defending Wyoming 3A State Champion Braves hit the road looking to continue their winning ways against one of eastern Idaho’s traditionally strong programs. Sugar-Salem enters the matchup on a roll. After dropping its season opener to Homedale, the Diggers have responded with back-to-back shutouts, defeating Snake River 35–0 and Shelley 41–0.

The Braves are coming off a pair of unique wins on the road against Soldotna (35-28) in Alaska and then over Raymond (Canada) (42-22) as part of the Rocky Mountain Rumble in Pocatello last Saturday.
