The Star Valley Chamber of Commerce Monthly Lunch and Learn event will be held Thursday, September 24, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Afton Civic Center. Local business owners, entrepreneurs, employers, and community members are invited to attend and take part in a discussion about the economic opportunities and challenges facing Lincoln County.

The Afton gathering is one stop on the Wyoming Business Alliance’s statewide 2026 County Tour, which is designed to reach all 23 Wyoming counties. Through the tour, the Alliance is seeking direct input from businesses and communities about the barriers slowing growth, the local strengths worth building on, and the changes that could improve Wyoming’s business climate.

During the Chamber’s September Lunch and Learn, attendees will have an opportunity to share their experiences and priorities with Wyoming Business Alliance representatives. Topics may include workforce needs, housing, infrastructure, regulations, business resources, and other issues that affect the ability of local employers and entrepreneurs to start, operate, and expand their businesses.

The Wyoming Business Alliance is working with the University of Wyoming College of Business and Wyoming community colleges to pair those local conversations with updated county-level economic information. Organizers say the feedback collected during the tour will help guide the organization’s future priorities and advocacy work on behalf of Wyoming businesses.
