Wyoming Cowboys (12-7) (3-3) The Cowboys won in Logan, Utah for the first time since 1971 as they blew a 22-point lead and then recovered to defeat the Aggies, 85-77. Hayden Dalton scored 16 of his 20 points in the first half and Alan Herndon finished with 21 points and three blocked shots. Justin James had a quiet night with 11 points but pulled down a team-best nine rebounds. UW will host #23 Nevada on Wednesday night. Utah State Aggies (10-11) (3-5) The Aggies were down 42-20 near the end of the first half before cutting the Wyoming Cowboy lead to 17 at the break. Sophomore guard, Sam Merrill went on an absolute tear in the second half to finish with 19 points. Koby McEwen had 17 in the game. USU hosts the Air Force Academy on Wednesday, January 24, with a 7 p.m. tip-off.

BYU Cougars (17-4)(6-2) BYU got 24 points from T.J Haws as they defeated the San Diego Toreros, 74-58 over the weekend. The Cougars held a nine-point lead at the half but San Diego went on a run to tie the game at 43-43. Jahdshire Hardnett completed a three point play with 3:26 remaining to help put the game away. He finished with 17 points. BYU will travel to take on #16 St. Mary’s on Thursday, January 25.

Boise State Broncos (16-4) (6-2) The Broncos clashed with #23 Nevada over the weekend in Reno and came up short in a hard-fought 74-68 battle. Senior Chandler Hutchison led the way with 27 points for BSU who is projected as the final team in the NCAA Field of 64 this week by Joe Lunardi. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak but the Broncs will have an excellent chance to start a new one as they host San Jose State this Wednesday evening.

Utah Runnin’ Utes (12-7)(4-4) Utah’s Tyler Rawson hit six, three-point baskets as the Utes rolled past the Washington State Huskies at the Huntsman Center on Saturday, 82-69. Junior Dedrick Barefield scored 14 points off the bench and Justin Bibbins chipped in 13 points and compiled 12 assists in the win. The Utes will try and keep the momentum rolling as they travel to # 21 Arizona State this Thursday before taking on #11 Arizona on Saturday.
