The Lincoln County School District No. 2 Board of Trustees met Tuesday, March 27 for the purpose of presenting a number of personnel changes in the district. Among those changes were two new principals for Star Valley schools.
Director of Secondary Education Jason Horsley has been named as the new Star Valley High School Principal. Horsley will replace current principal, Homer Bennett, when Bennett officially retires at the end of the 2018-19 school year. Horsley will begin as principal in the Fall of 2019.
Osmond Elementary School Teacher Daniel Barnes has been named as the new principal of Osmond Elementary School. Barnes will replace Matt Erickson. Erickson will serve as the district’s superintendent.
Current Superintendent, Alan Allred, announced his retirement on January 28. His resignation will become effective at the end of June.
