A broken jumper on a Lower Valley Energy Distribution Line disrupted power for 381 consumers on Wednesday, March 6. The outage occurred just after 5 p.m.
According to information released by Lower Valley Energy, the broken jumper “affected a feeder out of the Afton Substation.”
The outage affected homes and businesses north of Swift Creek.
Power was restored by 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening.
