Here are a few of the activities taking place throughout the District over the coming month
In Lincoln County School District 2, Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled February 18 and February 19 for all Star Valley schools. Check your email for details.
There will be no school throughout the district Friday, February 21 and Friday, February 28.
Additionally, Star Valley Schools will not be in session Friday, March 7 and Friday March 13.
Remember, Daylight Savings Time begins on March 8.
Afton Elementary School has an AR Celebration taking place February 24.
AES 2nd graders are preparing to take a field trip to the Elk Refuge on February 27.
Cokeville Elementary Ski School will be held on February 21 and February 28.
Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for February 21.
Etna Elementary is Celebrating the Arts in conjunction with Parent Teacher Conferences. Students are creating art pieces and performances of all kinds and submitting them for display.
The next session of Etna Enrichment Express begins February 26.
Osmond Elementary 4th grade students are planning a cross country ski trip for February 20.
Thayne Elementary School will host their Jungle Book Fair February 17 through February 20.
Star Valley Middle School 8th grade Warrior Clan members are taking a ski trip to Beaver February 19.
SVMS Student Government participants are scheduled for a trip to Cheyenne for a leadership experience February 24 through February 26.
February 26, SVMS Choir students will participate in a concert at 7 p.m. in the SVHS auditorium.
Cokeville High School, Tenth Grade students will take the ASVAB exam on Monday, March 2.
CHS Cheer Squad is scheduled to participate at the Wyoming State Spirit Competition March 11.
Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for March 12.
Students who have work missing will be expected to attend Friday School on March 13.
CHS 7th Grade Honors Choir Students are scheduled to attend their clinic at Davis Middle School on March 20.
The CHS Musical will be presented March 20 and March 21 at 7 p.m.
Star Valley High School FFA is scheduled to compete in the Northern Utah FFA Invitational in Tremonton, Utah February 19 and February 20.
Star Valley High School Choirs will host SVMS Choirs for a concert on February 26 at 7 p.m. in the SVHS auditorium.
The SVHS Cheer Squad will travel to Casper to compete in the State Spirit Competition on March 11.
Swift Creek High School’s last day of Hexter 4 is February 25.
The first day of Hexter 5 is February 26.
