The Town of Afton is accepting applications for a seat that will be vacated next month.

Councilman Cody Myers will be moving outside of the community’s town limits at the end of April.

Town Administrator Violet Sanderson said applications are being accepted through the town’s website. The application is located under the town council tab.

“Anyone interested and who has been a resident of the Town of Afton for a year may apply for consideration to appointment to the council,” said Sanderson. “We look forward to seeing many applications from those interested in serving their community.”

The Town of Afton has several projects coming up, including upgrades to the wastewater system and master plans that will carry Canyon View and Star View parks into the future.
