A Soda Springs woman has died after being thrown from her vehicle during a rollover early Wednesday morning.
The Caribou County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 1:50 a.m. emergency responders were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover approximately 1.5 miles south of Soda Springs on Bailey Creek Rd.
Upon arrival, Sheriff’s deputies discovered a 2003 Toyota pickup had left the east side of the road and had rolled several times. The only occupant had been thrown from the vehicle. She was transported to Caribou Medical Center and subsequently flown by life flight to Portnuef Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho. However, the driver succumbed to her injuries later on in the morning.
The driver has been identified as 55-year-old Lisa Sherman from Soda Springs. The accident remains under investigation by the Caribou County Sheriff’s Office.
