Idaho State Police are investigating a single vehicle accident that occurred at approximately 6:11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 10 on US26 near the town of Swan Valley.
ISP said a 23-year-old male from Idaho Falls was traveling eastbound near milepost 375 in a Chevrolet 55000 box truck. The driver fell asleep and went off the right shoulder and over-turned the vehicle into the river.
The crash remains under investigation. It is unknown if the driver was wearing seatbelt. ISP did not specify if any injuries were sustained.
