• WRESTLING
The Braves traveled to Hyrum, Utah for the Richardson Memorial and placed third as a team with 189.5 points. The squad hit this point total despite two empty weight classes. Westlake (239.5) and South Summit (203.0) finished in first and second place respectively.
Individually Star Valley had three tournament champions as Kimball Parry (105), Levi Byrd (113) and Tel Parry (132) made it to the top of the podium. The Braves had four other placers:

The Braves wrestlers will be in Rexburg next week for the Madison Invite.
• The Lady Braves competed at the MC Filly Invite at Mountain Crest High School on Saturday and won the varsity tournament with 209.0 team points. The hometown Fillies were second with 189.0 and Copper Hills was third with 167.5.
Individually Carlee Angell (105), Remington Aullman (135) and Veil Foreman (140) placed first in their weight classes. The Lady Braves had other placers such as:

The Lady Braves will be back in the Beehive State next weekend for a two-day tournament at Herriman High School.
• BASKETBALL
The Lady Braves bounced back from a 51-29 loss at Soda Springs on Thursday with a 46-33 win over the Marsh Valley Eagles. Kenlee Engelhardt put together a dominant defensive performance with 11 steals and four blocked shots to go with her game-high 14 points.
Sheridan Coles also reached double figures with 12 points and hauled in six rebounds. Katie Dandridge finished with eight points and six rebounds as the team improved to (2-7) on the season. The Lady Braves have just one game this upcoming week, a Saturday night game on the road at Preston High School.
• The Braves put together a stellar first half en route to building a 21-point halftime lead over Marsh Valley and a 69-50 final. Dylan Shumway came off the bench and hit five of six attempts from the three-point range to pace the offense. Defensively, the team did not allow an Eagle field goal until the final seconds of the first quarter.
Max Jensen scored 13 points and Cooper Lancaster finished with nine points and nine rebounds. Simon Gaskell had four blocked shots. Nine different players scored in the game.
Star Valley will host the Eagles this upcoming Friday on the home court before traveling to Preston for a Saturday night contest to wrap up non-conference play.
