The Wyoming Department of Transportation District 3 gave the following update on various road work and construction projects taking place in the Kemmerer/Diamondville area.
“Update on the WY 233, Frontier Section project. The bridge and sidewalk work was completed in late June, earlier than initially planned. The crusher is in the pit producing material for the hot plant mix. In mid to late July the reclaiming equipment will show up on the project to start milling up the existing road surface. That process will take a couple passes, so it might look like we’re done and then we’ll make another pass. Paving is anticipated to start in early August with the chip seal getting done before September 1st, schedule/weather allowing.
We’ll also be building the bike path that will connect the end of the current sidewalk to the bike path at the rodeo grounds.
We’ve partnered with Lincoln County to reclaim and pave CR 306 from where it starts off of US 189 up past the snowmobile parking area. This work will be happening around the same time frames as the work on WY 233.”
