UPDATE: At roughly 7:30 p.m. the Star Valley Search & Rescue reported that the missing child, Daxton Kulman, has been found safe. S&R expresses their gratitude to all the community members who assisted in the search.

ORIGINAL: The Star Valley Search & Rescue and law enforcement agencies are actively searching for a missing 9-year-old boy in the Bitter Creek Rd. area of Fairview.

S&R told SVI News at 6:30 p.m. Thursday that the boy was last seen on Bitter Creek Rd about 1/2 mile south of the four-way stop. He has brown hair and is wearing an orange hat and a blue sweatshirt with the word “Nauvoo” across the front.

According to S&R, the boy has a history of hiding in culverts and up trees. Neighbors and surrounding residents are asked to check their property. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at (307) 885-5231.
