Dr. Lori Schieffer has been named as the new principal of Thayne Elementary
School. Dr. Schieffer has  more than 21 years in education and is currently
an online college professor.

Her background includes teaching elementary school in California and the
Bear Lake area of Idaho. She has been a middle school administrator in
Montana as well.

“Lori has been a curriculum director as well,” said Superintendent Alan
Allred. “She comes to us with all kinds of experience. We are excited to
have her here in LCSD2.”

Schieffer was named as the new Thayne Elementary School Principal during the
Tuesday, May 22 special meeting of the Lincoln County School District No. 2
Board of Trustees. Schieffer replaces Justin Pierantoni, who announced his
resignation as Thayne Elementary School Principal last month.
