Washington, D.C. – If you are a small business owner looking for new opportunities, selling your products or services to the U.S. government might just be your next big break.
U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., is encouraging Wyoming entrepreneurs to attend the 17th annual Government Resources and Opportunities for Business (GRO-Biz) Conference and Idea Expo to learn more about opportunities for government contracting in the multi-billion dollar federal government market.
This year’s GRO-Biz Conference will be held Feb. 20-21 at the Ramkota Hotel in Casper. From tips on market research to networking with state business leaders, this conference can provide businesses with the competitive edge needed to grow.
“Government contracts are great opportunities for Wyoming entrepreneurs,” Enzi said. “Attending this conference can give you the resources you need to expand your business. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by.”
Representatives from federal and state government agencies are scheduled to be in attendance, including the U.S. Census Bureau, the U.S. Small Business Administration, the U.S. Forest Service, National Park Service and F.E. Warren Air Force Base. Past conferences have led to a number of successful business partnerships.
Partners of the 2019 GRO-Biz Conference include: Enzi, Governor Mark Gordon, the Wyoming Business Council, the Wyoming Small Business Development Center and the Wyoming Procurement Technical Assistance Center.
